The Pacific Premium Economy Class cabin includes an ergonomically designed seat, with adjustable headrest and a spacious 38-40 inch seat pitch. Guests in this cabin, will also benefit from Premium check-in; access to in-seat power (a British 3-pin plug adaptor is required); our Premium food and beverage selection; Amenity kit; and a personal 8.4 inch high-resolution video screen for every seat, with on demand visual and audio capabilities.
You can also add free Hong Kong, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Shanghai, Tokyo and Auckland (when travelling to Wellington or Christchurch) stopovers in both directions, and Pacific Islands stopovers in both directions for only €150 southbound or €300 northbound.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As this fare permits travelling via Los Angeles International Airport in either direction, all passengers must be travelling on their own machine readable passports and must complete the ESTA online form as part of the USA Visa Waiver Programme. The Premium Economy cabin will be available only on London/Heathrow to Los Angeles/Hong Kong to Auckland, and Auckland to Los Angeles/Hong Kong to London/Heathrow services, as well as Shanghai to Auckland and v.v. services. When choosing The Pacific Island stopover option, Air New Zealand services from Los Angeles to The Pacific Islands and from The Pacific Islands to New Zealand and vice versa, as well as domestic services within New Zealand, DO NOT have the Premium Economy Class cabin, therefore travel on these services will be in the standard Economy Class cabin. Flights between Los Angeles and Tahiti and v.v. are operated by Air Tahiti Nui, in their Economy Class cabin. Flights between Hong Kong and Shanghai and v.v. are operated by Dragonair, in their Economy Class cabin.

Fare/Price details - Prices are in EUR. Round trip airfare per person. The Premium Economy class will be available only on London/Heathrow - Hong Kong/Los Angeles - Auckland, and Auckland - Los Angeles/Hong Kong - London/Heathrow services. PLEASE NOTE: Air New Zealand services from Los Angeles to The Pacific Islands (The Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Tonga and Fiji) and from The Pacific Islands (The Cook Islands, Tahiti Western Samoa, Tonga and Fiji) to New Zealand and vice versa, as well as domestic services within New Zealand, DO NOT have a Premium Economy Class cabin, therefore travel on these services will be in the standard Economy Class cabin. Air Tahiti Nui operate the Los Angeles to Tahiti and v.v services, and travel will be in their Economy Class cabin. Taxes - Fares listed include estimated government taxes, ticketing and handling fees. Estimated tax component includes a fuel surcharge fee of €140.00 per Air New Zealand flight segment. Taxes are subject to currency fluctuation and routing. Estimated taxes are based on non-stop routings only (when stopovers are made taxes WILL vary/increase). Estimated taxes are based on using NZ38 London/Heathrow to Auckland and NZ39 Auckland to London/Heathrow services.
Payment & Ticketing - Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card and at least 5 days prior to departure. E-Tickets will be processed for bookings on this fare. Tickets must be purchased on/before 14 January 09.
Cancellation/Changes - Date changes not requiring a reissue of ticket are free of charge, subject to same booking class being available. Service fee of €30 may apply. Rerouting permitted, however a service fee of €30 will apply. Fare must be recalculated and the new ticket must be of equal or greater value. Ticket is non-transferable and has a €225 cancellation fee. After departure, it is non refundable. No show penalty is €225.
Stopovers - Free stopovers in Los Angeles or Hong Kong in each direction. Stopovers also permitted in Auckland (when destination is Wellington or Christchurch), The Cooks Islands, Fiji, Western Samoa, Tonga and Tahiti are permitted stopovers in each direction for €150 southbound and €300 northbound. Flights between Los Angeles and Tahiti and v.v are operated by Air Tahiti Nui and between Los Angeles and Fiji and v.v. are operated by Air Pacific in their Economy Class cabin.
Frequent Flyer - Air New Zealand Airpoints and STAR Alliance partner frequent flyer points/miles are permitted to be accrued on Air New Zealand operated sectors. Other frequent flyer member programs should check with their member guide. Virigin Atlantic operate the London/Heathtow to San Francisco, Tokyo/Narita and Shanghai services.
Minimum/Maximum Stays - No Minimum stay and Maximum stay is 12 months.
Children/Infants - Children (aged 2-11 inclusive) accompanied by an adult are entitled to a 25% discount. Infants (aged under 2) accompanied by an adult are entitled to a 90% discount, however the infant is not entitled to a seat. The infant will therefore be required to travel on the adult's knee/lap. Unaccompanied minors NOT permitted on these fares.
Travel Documentation - Passengers are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel visa, or other documentation required for international travel including documentation to transit the USA and Hong Kong. This fare allows travelling via Los Angeles International Airport in both directions, therefore all passengers require their own machine readable passport.
